# @ohos.app.ability.insightIntent (Basic Capability for Intent Calls)

The module provides basic capabilities for intent calls.

> The initial APIs of this module are supported since API version 11. Newly added APIs will be marked with a superscript to indicate their earliest API version.
>
> The APIs of this module can be used only in the stage model.

## ExecuteMode

Enumerates the intent call execution modes.

**System capability**: SystemCapability.Ability.AbilityRuntime.Core

| UI_ABILITY_FOREGROUND | 0 | Display a UIAbility in the foreground.<br>**Atomic service API**: This API can be used in atomic services since API version 11.|
| UI_ABILITY_BACKGROUND | 1 | Start a UIAbility in the background.<br>**Atomic service API**: This API can be used in atomic services since API version 11.|
| UI_EXTENSION_ABILITY | 2 | Start a UIExtensionAbility.|

## ExecuteResult

Defines the intent call execution result.

## IntentEntity<sup>20+<sup>

Base class of the [@InsightIntentEntity](./js-apis-app-ability-InsightIntentDecorator.md#insightintententity) decorator. It is used to define intent entities.

**System capability**: SystemCapability.Ability.AbilityRuntime.Core

**Model restriction**: This API can be used only in the stage model.
